XML Sitemaps

Capitan automatically maintains an XML sitemap for all public pages and files in your website.

The sitemap root is located at: https://www.yourdomain.com/xml/sitemap.xml

It's possible to configure modules to have their own sitemaps instead of being merged with the main "Pages" Sitemap (Settings > Modules > The Module > Module Sitemap Settings)

For the file sitemap, Capitan automatically excludes files in private folders (folder names starting with "atm_"). If you have files which should be publicly available but excluded from the sitemap you can add them to a folder called "noindex".

RSS Feeds

Capitan automatically creates RSS Feeds for all public module content

The RSS is located at: https://www.yourdomain.com/xml/rss.xml

It's possible to configure modules to have their own feeds instead of being merged with the others (Settings > Modules > The Module > Module RSS Settings)
